Adjective.
Treating animals, gods, or
objects as if they are human in appearance, character, and behaviour.
E.g. Your art is so anthropomorphic
because we can see your admiration for the animals.

Apex: /ˈeɪ.peks/ Noun.
The highest point or most
successful part of something.
E.g. Marcus is so happy because
he finally is in the apex of his life.

Canopy: /ˈkæn.ə.pi/ Noun.
The branches and leaves that
spread out at the top of a group of trees forming a type of roof.
E.g. I love to stay under the forest’s
canopy.

Cheetah: /ˈtʃiː.t̬ə/ Noun.
A wild animal of the cat
family, with yellowish-brown fur and black spots, that can run faster than any
other animal.
E.g. If I see a cheetah, I will
get scared.

Gauge: /ɡeɪdʒ/ Verb.
To calculate an amount,
especially by using a measuring device.
E.g. You need to gauge the
temper of your child.

Unwillingly.

noun mouse.
A small mammal with short fur,
a pointed face, and a long tail.

tries to be so far from them.

Unreasonable or unsuitable
because of being based on bad judgment or on wrong information or beliefs.

A name or nickname.
E.g. She hates a moniker that some
people say about her.
10. Painlessly: /ˈpeɪn.ləs.li/ Adverb.
In a way that causes no
physical pain.
E.g. The man was in surgery
painlessly.
11. Rodent: /ˈroʊ.dənt/ Noun.
Any of various small mammals
with large, sharp front teeth, such as mice and rats.
E.g. I am afraid when I see a
rodent.
12. Shrinks: /ʃrɪŋk/ Verb.
To become smaller, or to make
something smaller.
E.g. The plastic shrinks while
the temperature is turning hotter.
13. Thrive: /θraɪv/ Verb.
To grow, develop, or be
successful.
E.g. The company and the bank
thrive in economic status.
14. Trophy: /ˈtroʊ.fi/ Noun.
A prize, such as a gold or
silver cup, that is given to the winner of a competition or race, and often
returned after a year to be given to the winner of the competition in the
following year.
E.g. We can win a trophy in tomorrow’s
competition.
15. Unexamined: /ʌnɪgˈzæmənd/
Adjective.
Not investigated or examined.
